Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 15, 2026 Last Updated: August 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Coin Show Near Me (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website at coinshownearme.com and all related services (the “Platform”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Dealer listing and claim requests: Business name, representative role, business contact information, public contact details proposed for publication, credentials or source links, and shows or specialties you identify
  • Show submissions and organizer requests: Event name, dates, venue, public source links, organizer role, and contact information needed to review a submission or verification request
  • Reminder interest requests: Name, email address, selected state, and shows or locations of interest. These forms do not collect a mobile number
  • Listing review or removal requests: Contact information, reason for the request, supporting public source links, and the details you provide for manual review
  • Contact forms: Any information you submit through forms on the Platform
  • Feature-research surveys (inactive): If a survey is activated after review, it may request survey choices, optional written feedback, and optional name and email address if you request a reply

Inactive services: We do not currently collect account registrations, seller collection uploads, pre-show offer requests, or Collection Tracker feature-survey responses because those services are not active.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on pages
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution
  • Location data: Approximate location based on IP address (not precise GPS)
  • Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 5

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain the Platform
  • Display event listings and dealer directories
  • Process and respond to form submissions
  • Review dealer listing, claim, contact-publication, and verification requests manually
  • Record reminder interests and contact you about future reminder availability. No recurring reminder service is currently active
  • Review organizer-verification, correction, and listing-removal requests
  • Improve the Platform and develop new features
  • Prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Use
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Public Listings and Dealer Information

We do not currently operate a pre-show offer system, accept seller collection submissions, or share seller contact information with dealers through the Platform.

Dealer business details and public contacts may be displayed only after manual review and only when voluntarily submitted for publication or verified from a public source. Private claim or review contact information is not published automatically. Claimed and Verified are separate review states and neither is affected by payment or promotion.

3.2 Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform (e.g., form processing services, email delivery, hosting, analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the rights of others.

3.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably needed to review requests, provide active services, document consent or publication decisions, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of associated personal information by contacting us, subject to information we must or may lawfully retain.

Reminder-interest and consent records may be retained as needed to document your request, contact you about future availability, honor withdrawal requests, and comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw your request by contacting us. The current reminder-interest forms do not collect mobile numbers or activate recurring email or text messages.

If a feature survey is activated after review, answers may be retained to plan and improve tools. Name and email would remain optional and would be used only to reply about that feedback when provided with permission; submitting a survey would not join a reminder or marketing list.

Public Event Information and Removal Requests

Coin show names, dates, venues, cities, public organizer or club names, and official public source links are event facts gathered from public sources or submitted for publication. They are not automatically removed merely because a request is submitted. We manually review requests involving closed events, duplicates, inaccurate information, private personal information, or other supported concerns. We may correct, limit, or remove information when appropriate while retaining accurate public event facts where lawful and useful to the directory.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality
  • Analytics cookies: To understand how visitors use the Platform (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Preference cookies: To remember your settings and preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
